COYOTE as our Keystone carnivore, along with other fellow carnivores, plays a central role in supporting BIODIVERSITY on the landscape we depend on. When Coyote hunts for food …and is successful……this very act is what supports biodiversity.
HOW? This act of the Wild Hunter creates BALANCE and protects from DISEASE….all of which supports resiliency in this time of Climate Change.
BEWARE then of unrestrained human violence to them. As E.O Wilson wrote: it will be to our own peril…..In its stead…..study and save!
